Greno J. Solice

Greno Joseph Solice, 86, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 15, 2012. He was born on September 15, 1925 in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Mr. Solice was preceded in death by his son, Russell Solice; his brother, Jeff Solice, and his sister, Velma Flores. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Loddie Lee Solice, and is also survived by his brothers, Leroy Solice of Shreveport, Louisana, and Larry Solice of Paris, Texas; grandson, Russell Solice Jr. of Houston, Texas; great-grandchildren, Alina and Eva Solice, and sister-in-law, Dorothy Kuciemba of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends at Heights Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, February 19, 2012 for viewing, with a rosary to commence at 5:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 20, 2012 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4419 N. Main Street, Houston, Texas 77009. Entombment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston Texas 77039.
