Harold R. Hendricks, age 85, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017. Born in Matoy, Oklahoma, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Harold was also a wonderful neighbor to all. He retired from the Houston Fire Department after 31 years of service. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert W. Hendricks; parents, Grover and Mattie Hendricks; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Molly Hendricks. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Clare M. Hendricks; daughters, Mary Beth Alexander and husband Robin; and Stacey Templet and husband Rusty; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Alma Dean and husband Charles, Royse Roberts and husband Archie, Jannis Breneman; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060, with the Celebration of Life Funeral Service to be at 12:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
