Hazel Ward was born in Industry, Texas on Sept. 16, 1919 to Reinhardl Lahrmann and Annette Bickmann. She enjoyed family and loved to have everyone over on those special days like birthdays and holidays. She always made those occasions special for her children and grandchildren. Easter was always a good time, with an angel food cake, whipped cream and marsh mellow bunnies. There were always lots of eggs to hunt and plenty of candy! Thanksgiving was special too, with the turkey and plenty of food for everyone, but Christmas was best of all. She always had something special under that tree for each of her many family members. They all have fond memories of those days and have carried those traditions on in their own family holidays. She passed away on April 30, 2012. Hazel had three children Fred, Ann and Mike, nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Arrangements are entrusted to Heights Funeral Home.
