Helen Stephens was born March 10, 1926 in Doucette, Texas to Otis and Gertude McCarthy. Helen was converted to Christ at an early age and United with Apostolic one Way Church under leadership of Pastor Essie and Jesse Hyde were she was "MOTHER" of the church. Helen was joined in Holy Matrimony to Dillard Stephens and to this union nine children were born. Helen is preceded in death by both parents, husband, sister, brother, and two great grandchildren. Helen leaves to cherish her memory nine children Mary (WK), Doretha, Leona, Rose (Robert), Debra, Linda Brenda, Willa (David) and Dillard (Vicki), twenty seven grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and a host of family and friends.
