Henry Mead Bertholf, loving father and husband, passed away on August 6th, 2012, at his home in Houston, Texas. Henry is survived by his two sons, Evan Lee Bertholf and Alexander Merritt Bertholf, and his wife of 25 years, Janna. He is also survived by his mother, Cynthia Bertholf, brother William Bertholf, and sisters, Cyndy Wolfe and Wendon McNeill.
Henry's mother, brother, sisters and their families, although scattered from coast to coast, were always in his heart. He loved his family and was so very proud of his sons. Henry also loved his many dear and life-long friends.
Henry’s other passions were his much loved rescue dog, Reilly, and trains. A private family service is planned. Those who so desire may make a donation in Henry’s memory to the Friends of the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad, Locomotive 463 Restoration.
