Houston Nelson Free Jr., was born on August 26, 1950 in Greenwood, Mississippi and peacefully passed at the young ripe age of 73 on September 12, 2023. Throughout his ongoing battle with cancer, his loving and devoted wife tended to his every want and need. He was deeply loved by his sons and surrounding company.
Houston retired with 25 years tenure from Transocean. He raised a beautiful family alongside his beloved wife, Myoung. Houston is survived by his wife, Myoung; sons, Sean and Steven; nephew David Young; great niece Alyssa Young and nephew Beomjin Chun.
A Celebration of Life service was held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Waltrip Funeral Directors, 1415 Campbell Road in Houston, Texas.
