Hugo Victor Avalos

Hugo "Victor" Avalos entered this life November 17, 1957. He crossed the finish line in first place August 30, 2020. Victor was born to Petra Hernandez and Abdias Avalos. He was a caring and noble son. He was a wonderful brother, uncle, and friend. He was a brother to Victoria Avalos, Pilar Avalos, Elvia Ternes and big brother to Carlos David Avalos.

Victor was an active real estate broker, investor and developer for over 35 years. He strived for excellence in his business and personal life. He was a member of the Houston Association of Realtors and Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School and attended the University of Houston Main Campus. Victor had a passion for golf, tennis, running, table-tennis and enjoyed playing a game of chess. As a self-taught arborist one of his favorite hobbies was landscape design.

Victor will be missed by his niece, nephews, cousins, employees, neighbors and truly a host of many, many friends. Victor's absence will be greatly felt by all who knew him and loved him. In our hearts he will be forever loved, missed and respected. Thank you to all who contributed to Victor's fantastic life.

The family will receive friends for visitation at Forest Park Lawndale Grand Chapel Friday, September 4th, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at 6900 Lawndale St Houston, Texas 77023. Funeral Service at Forest Park Lawndale Chapel of Angels Saturday, September 5th 10:00 am at 6900 Lawndale St. with a Graveside Service to follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm.
