

Jane was a simple lady with a strong will who loved her family, and God. She was a devoted wife to Earl Haring, Jr.; (who retired from Houston Police Dept.) a loving mother to their children, Deborah Lynn and Kenneth Haring. Deborah and Earl have preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Haring; granddaughter, Kayla Blackmon; grandson, David Haring and several great-grandchildren.
Jane retired from Harris County Pct. 5. During her life she spent time gardening, watching hummingbirds, painting, Bingo, crossword puzzles, card games (with a glass of wine) and was always ready for a road trip. Jane attended Lakewood Church with John and Dodie Osteen and was a proud graduate from the Lakewood Bible Institute. Jane was a generous and caring woman. She also was a seamstress making wedding dresses, and doll clothes. On weekends, she may be found at a flea market, resale shop, or "Heading East'' to a horse race or casino.
Jane was a blessing in the lives of many and may she rest in peace.
A visitation for Iris will be held Monday, March 13, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will occur Monday, March 13, 2023 at 2:00 PM. A Committal Service will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
