Irma met her husband of 52 years, Jose Noriega Jr. on December 1968. Before settling in Kingsville, Texas for 15 years, she traveled the United States as a migrant worker. She then moved to Houston, Texas for the remainder of her life. Irma's family was her priority, she loved them unconditionally. She was a strong woman and would fight fiercely to protect them at all costs but still wanted to be treated as a Disney Princess. She made sure everyone was always well taken care of. After every visit and phone call her parting words were always "Te quiero chingos, hasta el cielo." She will be dearly missed.
Irma is preceded in death by her daughter, Irma "Wera" Palomo and parents, Elvira and Salvador Caldera.
Left to cherish her memory is her spouse, Jose Noriega Jr.; children, Beatriz C. Noriega, Jose V. Noriega, Roberto Noriega, Estevan Noriega and Andres Noriega; grandchildren, Elvira Marie Palomo, Stephanie R. Noriega, George Michael Palomo, Cassandra N. Noriega, Victoria Noriega, Eliberto "Jr" Noriega, Leslie L. Noriega, Viviana I. Noriega, Jose Christian Noriega, Candice A. Noriega and Roberto "Robbie" Noriega. Irma also leaves behind her sister, Sonia Caldera and brother, Rodolfo Caldera.
