Irma S Jalomo

Irma was born to Emilia Savedra Hernandez and Jose Luis Savedra, March 17, 1943, in Mission, Texas.

She graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1964 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She married Antonio Salas Jalomo in 1965, and they lived together in Houston, Texas. Together they raised six children. She was totally dedicated to her spouse, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild in all aspects of their lives.

She is survived by her spouse Antonio Salas Jalomo, son Joe Anthony Jalomo, daughter Brenda Jalomo Mendez & spouse Jose Mendez, Jr., daughter Rachel Jalomo Rios, son Michael Thomas Jalomo, son Christopher Jalomo & spouse Brent Smith, and son Anthony Rene Jalomo & spouse Gina Valerio Jalomo, and grandchildren: Marissa Mendez, Jose Mendez, III, Roman Rios, II, Erica Rios, Julian Rios, Garrick Rios, Alyssa Jalomo, Jasmine Jalomo, Madison Jalomo, Michael Jalomo, II, Justin Stephens, Blake Stephens, and Scarlett Jalomo and great-grandchild Sophia Mejia and her two loving cats Gizmo and Bella. She also leaves to cherish her memory her brother Juan Raul Savedra & spouse Angelita, brother-in-law Ismael Jalomo & spouse Isabel and countless nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother Emilia Savedra Hernandez, step-father Julian Hernandez, father Jose Luis Savedra, and brother Jose Luis Savedra, Jr..

Irma is a breast cancer survivor since 1989. Irma spent many years taking care of her grandchildren as she was actively involved in their lives. Irma always took great pride in her children and grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled February 5, 2021 at 5:00 pm with the Rosary following at 7:00 pm at Forest Park Lawndale in Houston, Texas. A funeral mass will be held February 6, 2021 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. The interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale in Houston, Texas.
