To Jim's Family:
I served with Jim in the 21st MP Co, Ft. Bragg, in the mid-70's. What we all share as military veterans goes double when we're also former law enforcement. May Our Lord embrace Jim in His arms! My prayers and sincere condolences go to you and Jim's loved ones.

Sincere condolences to Jim's wife and family. I met Jim when he became a game warden at Ft Bragg. We worked together until I left the Army to become a NC Wildlife Officer. He was one of the most caring ,unselfish people that I've ever known. Love you brother. RIP

I am so sad to learn about the loss of Jim. He was such a nice person, a real gentleman. I met him while I worked at the Houston Police Department. He was a good friend of my husband, Lieutenant Terry Collman, with whom he worked at the Northeast Substation, as well on an extra job. I am so glad I was able to help Jim with his resume as he prepared to return to Houston to work with the D.A.'s Office. We had some very nice phone calls at that time. He will be missed by many.

I have such fond memories of Jim while I was a neighbor in Salisbury, NH. I can still see him being towed down our gravel Raccoon Hill Rd. by his very headstrong dog, and the time we left him holding a republican political sign while he did me the favor of holding my dog all gussied up with signs of the opposing political party - I'm not sure he ever forgave me. He was a wonderful man and the world will be a poorer place without him. Velma Emery, Salisbury, NH. He was the best possible neighbor.

To Carmen and family, I only knew Jim a few years at the District Attorney's Office but every time we talked we ended up talking about fishing and family. He was such a kind and decent man who was a pleasure to visit with. I hope in the coming days God wraps his arms around your family and you find some comfort in a life well lived.
