James F. Miller was born 11/21/1924, was a World War II veteran and founding parishioner of St. Jerome Catholic Church and died peacefully on December 26, 2013. He is survived by: his wife of 67 years, Lillian; sons Jim (Dawn) of Metairie, Louisiana, Tom (Kathleen) of The Woodlands, Chris (Rachel) of Houston; daughter Susan of Austin; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He did not want a long obituary, saying, "Those that know me don't need it and those that don't know me wouldn't understand it."
Visitation: Monday, Dec. 30 from 5-8 pm, with a Rosary at 6:30 pm.
Funeral: Tuesday, Dec. 31 at 10 am, both at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 8825 Kempwood Drive, Houston, Texas, with graveside service immediately following.
