James was born to the late Andrew and Mary Moncus on March 12, 1939, in Waco, Tx. James graduated from China Springs High School where he played football and basketball. He married his living wife Norma Pillow on February 5, 1960 in Waco, TX.
James is survived by his wife of 52 years Norma, Four children, Randal Moncus, Stephen Moncus, Kevin Moncus and Lisa Moncus. Six grandchildren, Randal Moncus II, allen moncus, Dylan Moncus, Andrew Moncus, Hayden Moncus and Kylie Nash. James has five brothers and sisters, Rosemary Sparks (Deceased), Catherine (DeDe)Ashley, Andrew Louis Moncus, Regina Hawkins and Bernadette Cardenas. And several nieces and Nephews
James served in the National Guard and resided in Houston, TX with his wife and children where he worked as an Electrician. His hobbies were coaching Little League Baseball, Speed Skating, Auto Restoration, fishing and hunting.
