James Arthur Moore born July 16, 1930 in Daingerfiled, TX, passed away in Normangee, Texas on July 1, 2015. James enjoyed fishing and was a true outdoorsman, he loved to be the jokester and pranked his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with his cattle as they would follow him around as he cut the grass then giving them a head butt. He loved gardening and had a kind heart. James is preceded in death by his loving wife Ella Parker Moore and sister Katherine Buhla Poyner. He is survived by his daughter: Jannett Renfro and husband George of Normangee; sons: Bobby Wayne Moore and wife Debbie of Conroe, James Douglas Moore and Rosemarie of Houston, Jesse Allen Moore and wife Marie of Kingwood, and Jimmy Ray Moore of Houston; sister Marie McCollum of Odessa; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He loved story telling time with his family. A visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Colonial Chapel from 8:00 am to 10:00 am where a service will be held by Pastor Andrew Kight at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
