Mr. Priest was a WW II U.S. Navy Veteran. Paul (Jay) retired from Clarke and Courts in 1990 with 45 years of service. He met and married Mary Hedrick while stationed in California, she preceded him in death after 58 years of marriage. Also preceded in death by his son, Robert J. Priest. Survived by his son, J.P. Priest, Jr. and wife, Faye; daughters, Susan Manning and husband, Gerald, Nancy Priest; daughter-in-law, Marguerite Priest; 11 grandsons; 5 granddaughters and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 27, 2013 at Waltrip Funeral Directors. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday at Spring Branch Presbyterian Church, 1215 Campbell Rd.
