James Earl Purcell, 73, of Houston, Texas passed away on January 30, 2015. James had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed traveling, hiking, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his mother Mary Louise Purcell, children, Sherry Mcnutt and husband Patrick, Suzanne Martin and husband Tom, Larry Purcell and Lynda Moreland his grandchildren Nickolas, Shane, Marissa, Megan, Peyton, Amanda, Brandon, Kayla, Sydney, Samantha and Cole. Also left behind are his great granddaughter Molly, brother Larry Edward Purcell and wife Paula as well as many other family members and friends. A visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 6-8 PM with a rosary at 7 PM and a funeral service will take place on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
