James Ernest Will, 83, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2011. James was born on September 14, 1928 in Houston, Texas to G.F. and Hettie Will. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Evangeline (Huebner) Will. He is survived by his sons Richard (Rick); James (Jim) and his wife Rebecca; Grandchildren, John, Scott, Melissa (Hendrick), and Amy; Great Grandchildren, Jackson, Christopher, and Kathyrn Grace. James was a graduate of Milby High School, and attended the University of Houston. He retired from Lucent Technologies/Southwestern Bell Telephone after 40 years of services. He managed Southeast National Little League baseball in the 1960’s. He was a lifelong member of Redeemer Lutheran Church (Lawndale). A visitation will be held on Friday, October 21, 2011 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, October 22, 2011, at 10:30am at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 5700 Lawndale, Houston, Texas 77023, with interment to follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Redeemer Lutheran Church.
