Jane Elizabeth Drews, our beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on February 21, 2016, one day after her 92nd birthday. Born and raised in Houston, Texas to Burl Dupree and Mabel Adaline (Black) Hughes, she was a graduate of Reagan High School. On June 9, 1942, Jane married Fred M. Drews. She was a homemaker and mother to their five children: three daughters and two sons. She was a former member and a past-president of the Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors of Texas Ladies Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1993 and a daughter, Melba L. Drews in 1996. Survivors include children, Pamela Sellers of Euless, TX, Holly Drews of Houston, TX, Fred H. Drews and wife Debbie of Pearland, TX, Burl Drews and wife Jenny of Houston; grandchildren, Kimberly O’Daniel and husband Bill of Euless, TX, Tiffany Acree and husband Kent of Magnolia, TX, Matthew Drews of Houston, TX; great-grandchildren, William Drew O’Daniel, Kaitlyn O’Daniel, and Colby Acree.
