

Jeanette Tomasino Russo was born on January 12, 1927, in Houston, Texas, to Phillip and Lillie Tomasino. A lifelong resident of the Houston area, Jeanette's life was deeply rooted in faith, family, and community.
She is lovingly survived by her children: Anthony Russo and wife Sherry, Jack Russo Jr. and wife Carol, Raymond Russo and wife Susan, Robert Russo and wife Charlotte, Madelyn Russo Straughan and husband Michael, and Ronnie Russo. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Clinton Patronella, Kevin Russo, Ryan Russo, Jonathon Russo, Michael Russo, and Nick Russo Jr.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are David Straughan, Roger Graham, and Phillip Tomasino.
Jeanette’s greatest devotion was to her Savior, Jesus Christ, followed closely by her unwavering love for her family. Family was everything to her, not only her children and grandchildren, but her many nieces and nephews as well. She cherished their visits and held a special place in her heart for each of them. To all the cousins, the family offers sincere thanks for your love and presence throughout the years.
The family would also like to express heartfelt gratitude to the Brookdale community and staff for their support and care. A special thank you goes to the Fairmont Hospice staff for their compassion and guidance during Jeanette’s final days.
Services for Jeanette will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Grand Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m., with burial at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
