Jeffrey Stewart Cofield passed away in Houston, Texas, on December 16, 2025 at the age of 72. Jeff was a kind and gentle man living in a group home in Cypress, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, J. Stewart Cofield, his mother, Phyllis Kunde Cofield, and his brother John Cofield. Jeff was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was raised in a loving home on Tosca Lane in Houston, where the family enjoyed supportive neighbors and dear friends at St. Andrew Lutheran Church. The family is grateful for the wonderful team at Avid (formerly Bethesda Lutheran) Group Homes who cared for him well.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, on Saturday, January 17, 2026.
