Jerry built a long and fulfilling career at Southwestern Bell, where she worked for over four decades. She took great pride in her professional accomplishments but often said that her greatest achievement was meeting her beloved husband Buddy Cronin there. Their marriage of 45 years was filled with love, laughter, and nightly conversations about work—often colorful and occasionally not suitable for young ears. Together they raised a family that brought them immense joy.
Though Jerry didn’t consider herself a fan of the kitchen, it seemed to love her anyway. Her meatballs, fried shrimp, and apple cake became legendary among those lucky enough to enjoy them. She also had a special bond with her plants—treating them like cherished companions. If you admired one of her plants, you could expect several more to mysteriously appear at your door soon after.
Above all else, Jerry adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was known for indulging them with ice cream—especially when their parents weren’t looking—and for creating moments of joy that will be remembered for generations.
Jerry is survived by her sons Greg Bielamowicz and his wife Tracy, and Nathan Bielamowicz; daughters Sherri Cronin and Shannon Bateman and her husband Craig; grandchildren Madison Bielamowicz, Dylan Bielamowicz, Chase Bielamowicz, Blake Bielamowicz and his wife Amy, Blaine Finke, Garrett Finke, Aidan Vartraic, Breleigh Bateman, and Tripp Bateman; and great-grandchildren Breelyn Bielamowicz and Greyson Bielamowicz.
She is also survived by sister Jeanette Kleeman, husband Ed, and her dearest and treasured sister-in-laws who were always there to brighten her day and bring her laughter, Jane Teague and Patti Torregrossa, husband Carl; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
Jerry was preceded in death by her loving husband Buddy Cronin; parents Audie and Oleta Teague; and brothers Otis Teague, Lonnie Teague, and Mike Teague.
Her warmth, wit, generous and often spicy spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind.
