This is the POEM that I read at the funeral.

Dear Brian, Saran and Sheree,  We were so sad to hear of your mother's passing.  She was such a gentle and loving person.  We remember our visit with you all in Lake Charles when Emmy was just a baby and Brian was just a kid.  We had such a lovely time with you all.
Mama shares often her memories of her girl hood days with your Mama and Joybelle.  They sound so wonderful and sweet.
We hope to see you all soon, either here or in Texas.

It is our prayer that the Lord will hold each of you close as you adjust to the loss of your mama.

Brian and Kim, Saran, Sharee and Dana, Jimmie and all the Family, we are saddened by hearing of Jewell's passing. Though miles separates the opportunity of sharing more of our lives we still have a deep connection with Jewell and all of you. We remember her sweet spirit and her love of God and Family. We have the Joyous Promise to know she is in Heaven and we will see her again. We Love You all and Pray that God's Peace and Comfort surround you.
MaMa talks often of the good times in their youth and visits when she would get to go to Jacksonville and see Jewell and Joybelle and also when they would come and visit here in Lake City. Isn't it a blessing to have kinfolk. Wish we could come but MaMa just didn't think she could make the trip.

Loved Ms. Jewel so much.  Loved visiting at her home during my much younger years in Sulphur.  I'll never forget her.  Keeping you all in my prayers.

Hello Brian,Kim and Saran, 
Your mom held a special place in our hearts . She along with several other ladies sat around the clock with our first baby who was 10 days old and back in the hospital critically ill. from then on those ladies have all been very special to us and were like surrogate grandmothers to Carla as well as her sister and brother Jo and Tommy. She had such a gift of love that she shared with all around her.We know you will miss her,but we also know she is in a better place  and you have such wonderful memories of times past. Jewell was a great friend and strong prayer warrior. We will miss her dearly but look forward to seeing her again one day in Heaven. With love.
