Joan Lambron fell asleep in the Lord peacefully at home. Joan was born to George and Frances on the island of Syros in Greece. She immigrated to the United States as an orphan in 1952. Joan lived with her aunt and uncle in Joliet, Illinois working on their farm, going to school and working as a seamstress at Hart Schaffner and Marx.
Joan later moved to Chicago, New Orleans and Houston. She retired as a secretary from The Whitney Bank in New Orleans.
Joan always had a smile and positive attitude; she even had a smile on her DMV photo. Joan loved to travel having visited over 40 countries as she said travel was the best education.
Joan was a member of the Daughters of Penelope, Ladies Philoptochos Society and the Kali Parea fellowship ministry.
Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Peter and sisters Katina, Alexandra and Tula.
Joan is survived by her son, Nicholas, and loyal shadow, Zeus. Others left to cherish her memory are her niece and nephew Debbie and Chris Jumes, godchildren Fotini Mareno and Callie Fouquet.
