Joe Hanna, Jr., age 65, passed away April 7, 2015. Born in Houston, Texas, he loved God, his family and he enjoyed travelling. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Hanna, Sr. Survived by his wife of 20 years, Susie Hanna; children, Jennifer Boyd, Donald Thompson and wife Nikki, and Robert Bodle; grandchildren, Chance Boyd, Allyson Boyd, Hannah Thompson, Leah Thompson, and Caden Bodle; mother, Roberta Hanna; brother, Jordan Hanna and wife Kim; sister, Eleanor Hanna; numerous nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Houston National Chapel. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery. The family would like to invite all to join them at a reception to be held after the service at Metropolitan Baptist Church, 13000 Jones Rd., Houston, Texas 77070.
