John Franklin Edwards

John Franklin Edwards was born on October 14, 1982 in Houston, Texas to William Jerald and Deborah Jean Edwards.He accepted Christ and was baptized at a early age. John attended a private school, before joining Burrus Elementary where he skipped the 2nd Grade, followed by M.C. Williams Middle School and later Booker T. Washington High and S. P. Waltrip High School where he was a member of the band. It was at Waltrip where he met the love of his life Katrice Hall whom he was with for 20 years.John worked hard to provide for his family and loved playing chess, watching ESPN and Martin, spoiling his nieces, nephews and spending time with his baby girl, close friends and family.John was preceded I death by his parents Deborah Jean and William Jerald Edwards, his Aunts Daryl juanette Lott and Delores Jean Anderson and his great grandmother Jessie Mae Stewart.On August 8, 2018, God dispatched an angel to usher Jhn's spirit home. He leaves to cherish his memories: His loving and devoted wife Katrice and one daughter Sa'Marah Johnice Edwards, Godmother; Clara Jackson, Godsister Kylima Blackmon & Godson Corey Victorian III, Godparents; Doris Jean Anderson and Rev. Franklin Anderson, Father and Mother in law; Rickey and Patricia Hall, (5) brothers: Jason Winn, paul Sanders, Cedric Gates (Keisha), Delvin Peavy and Daniel Edwards, (3) Sisters; Bridgette Morris, Renee' Lewis (Shelven), and Whitney Edwards, (3) sister-in-laws; Doroshia Riley, Rickeydria Hall and Kamesha Sam (David), Brother-in-law Jonathan hall and a host of nephews, nieces and friends.
