John Edward Lankford

Johnny was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School’s class of 1950 in Dallas. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and was the owner and operator of Electronic Services Unlimited. Johnny spent his time between Kingwood and his home on Lake Livingston, where he enjoyed boating and fishing.

Johnny is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Edith; their daughter, Robbie and son, John Jr. He is survived by his son, P. Mark Lankford and wife Julie, their children, Adam, Amelia, David and Max Lankford; Robbie’s daughter, Jessica Garza and husband Damien; John Jr.’s children, Derrick Lankford and wife Laura, Jennifer Rico and husband Emmanuel, Rachel and Amanda Lankford. Also surviving are great grandchildren, many other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 28th at Waltrip Funeral Directors in Houston. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 29th in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Garden of Memories.
