

Joe graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1989 and studied at the University of Houston. He married Noelia Apodaca on February 2, 1996. They lived in Houston, TX and raised 6 children together. Joe worked as a district manager for Presto-X Rentokil USA for 5 years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, cooking and grilling.
He is survived by his mother, Rebecca Apodaca; his wife, Noelia Apodaca; children, Jose III, Julian, John, Stepson, Anthony and his wife, Emily, and Juanita; Sisters, Michelle and Antoinette; nephews, Vincent, Michael, Anthony, Thomas, Andrew, Aiden; great-nephew Leonel; nieces, Yvette, Amanda, Coco, Natalie, Alyssa, and his special great niece, Riley Bear; brother-in-laws Ruben, Ditto, Santos, Abel, and Frankie; sister-in-laws, Griselda and Angelica. Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Angelina, Maddox, Kingston, and Camron.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe G. Apodaca Sr.; grandparents, Betty and Albert Gonzales, Trini and Andrew Apodaca; stepson, Eric Covarrubias, and his sister, Yvette Apodaca.
A visitation for Jose will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A committal service will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. We will follow with a reception at the American Legion Hall, 7599 Avenue C., Houston, TX 77012. His wife would like to give a special thanks to Jen and Baruc for feeding us so many days. My SNL Michelle for all that you have done. Thanks to my "Panes" Santos and Griselda. I am especially thankful to my Mother-in-law Becky for standing strong and being my pillar during these difficult days. I could not have gone through it without you.
