Josephine P. Gonzales

They were blessed with four children.

Judy retired from Houston Independent School District in 1999. She and Ruben were very active members of St Augustine Catholic Church. They moved to La Porte Texas in 2019.

They owned property in Galveston where she enjoyed hunting silver dollars on the beach. This was her passion, spending time on the beach. They also enjoyed going to the Casinos in Louisiana. And taking many trips with the Goodyear Retirees Group.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Teresa Zavala and Robert Perez, and a son Andrew Gonzales.

She is survived by her loving husband Ruben, daughter and son in law Sylvia and Lloyd Jewell, son and daughter-in-law Ruben and Janet Gonzales and son and daughter in law Steve and Stacey Gonzales. Seven grandchildren and seven great grand children and one on the way.

Judy will be missed by many and remembered as a wonderful wife, loving cook, mother to all and huge Astros and Rockets fan.

Visitation for Judy will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 11:00-12 noon followed by a service at noon. All at Forest Park Funeral Home 6900 Lawndale Street ,Houston, Texas 77023.
