She was born in Houston, Texas on June 1, 1957. Josie graduated from Stephen F. Austin.
She is survived by her daughters; Tanya Acuna (Saul) & Nicole Roy (Paul Juarez), grandchildren; Desiree Acuna, Lazarus Acuna & Amia Juarez, and siblings; Pedro Vasuez (Jan), Guadalupe Vasquez (Shirley), Linda Vasquez, Gloria Almendarez, Irma Ortega (Mario), Irene Morales (David), Mary Ann Garceau & Hope Vasquez.
Funeral services will be held at Forest Park Lawndale at 11am on August 24, 2020.
