Joy always looked forward to spending time with family and friends. She loved card games, crossword puzzles, and family pets. She watched Wheel of Fortune every night for years. Her favorite game was playing Mexican Train and enjoyed going to Coushatta with close friends, gambling the night away. She enjoyed bowling, eating lunch out with her buddies, bus trips of the U.S., and going camping in their trailer each summer vacation as well as two trips to Canada. She enjoyed listening and dancing to country and western music. Her life was lived offering love, laughter, advice, support, and she brought joy to this world. Our family is grateful for the outpouring of love, prayer, and support from family and friends.
Our family would like to thank the staff at Woodhaven Senior Living Community in Conroe, Texas, for all their support, care, and compassion for Joy. We also wish to thank VeraCare Hospice for their comfort and tender care in her final days. Thank you all for making her memory one of dignity and grace.
