Joy was a great friend and mother to Tonya and myself, she will be missed.

I have not met a woman like Joy in al my 56 years. She was always dressed fit to kill if she was going out, looked fantastic when just hanging at home, and in the morning she looked good with her coffee and cigerettes. She was such a classy woman and yet would tell you how the cow ate the cabbage in a heartbeat. She had such witty tongue when telling us how we should act like ladies when in public. The lesson was instilled in our minds and most of the time we still follow her words of wisdom. I loved this lady and will never forget her. I love her daughter and granddaughter and will be here for them always, so rest in peace Joy.

My condolences to all of Joy's family, she was such a wonderful, funny lady.
She will be missed greatly.

Sabrina, I'm so sorry that your Grandma passed. She truly is in a better place now since she was in such poor health. I know that she will be up in Heaven watching over you, your Mom, Garrett & Madison.

Joy's absence from this life will leave a hole in the atmosphere.  I'm sure glad that she's up there directing traffic for us now, keeping everybody in line and making God laugh!

I was so sorry to hear of Naw Naw's passing.  One of the things I loved most about her was you never knew what she was going to say next, but you waited in anticipation because you knew whatever it was, it was gonna be good. She had a way of making you laugh but also be a little scared at the same time :)  I can surely say I've never known another like her and she will never be forgotten.  My Prayers are with you Tonya and Sabrina and the rest of your family and friends.  I know she's in Heaven laying down the law and watching over you.

Tonya, I am so sorry for your loss. I know how close you and your Mom were.  She was one of a kind.  She could make a person laugh when no one else could. She would also set you straight when no one else would.  My favorite story is when she wouldn't let you and I think your cousin have water one night because ya'll did not water the horses.  She said they cannot get water on their on so if they go without water you go without water.  I remember her long red nails tapping on the desk or table when she would give her look.  She was one tough lady and someone I always had respect for.
