Joyce Noack

The beautiful and loving JOYCE MARIE NOACK entered into enternal rest on Saturday, October 30, 2010. Joyce began her life of love and service to others in Houston, Texas on December 8, 1930. She attended Reagan High School where she was a competitive and talented basketball and volleyball player who was known for her spiking ability. She continued her education in business school where she excelled as a typist.

Joyce began her career as a typist, and later pursued a successful career as a talented floral designer. Before retiring Joyce worked in real estate.

The departed is preceded in death by her father, Jerome C. Harris; mother, Queenie Victoria Harris; sister, Farrell Brock; brother, Martin D. Harris; sister, Fay Descant; brother, George O. Harris; brother, Desbar Harris; twin sister, Doris Ruth Harris; brother, Odis D. Harris; husband Paul W. Noack and great grandson, Jakson Smith.

Joyce is survived by sister, Betty Jo Whitaker, and four children with former husband, Earl S. Pool who preceded her in death. Her children are Howard Pool, Patricia Cook-Smith, Shara Burnley and Lesa Azra. Her stepchildren with husband Paul W. Noack who preceded her in death, include Buddy Noack, Jay Noack, Lisa Daniels and Mary Durham.

Her grandchildren are Greg, Jenell, Stephanie, Angela, Dawn, Tiana, Lana, Zach and Alex. Step grandchildren, Jessica, Austin, Aubrey, Jason, Mandi, Kadie, Ty, Steven, Jill, Jenna, Alysa, William, Suzanne and Emily. Great grandchildren, Ainsley, Shiloh, Kayla, Robert, Isabella, Ethan, Ashlynn, Brandt and Caelyn. Step great grandchildren, Gabbie and Jackie.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM, Thursday, November 4, 2010 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
