Juana E. Cardona

Juana Enriqueta Cardona, born on July 12, 1928 In Hacienda la Cruz, Zaragoza Coahuila Mexico, was called to the presence of Our Heavenly Father on October 15, 2024 at the age of 96. She was the eldest daughter of Jesus Alonzo Castillo and Mara de Jesus Lopez Garcia.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Jesus and Jose Luis, sisters Elena, Petra, Antonia, Feliz Alonzo Lopez and her loving husband of 48 years Pablo T. Cardona, Sr.

She is survived by her only daughter Sandra and her husband Rodolfo Gaona, grandson Patrick, her brothers and sisters, Teresa Alonzo Lopez, Juan Alonzo Lopez, Felipe Alonzo Lopez and Maria del Socorro Alonzo Lopez, She also leaves behind 5 stepchildren Gloria Jean and husband Ralph Ramos, Paul Cardona Jr and wife Amelia, Melida Rose and husband Edward Garza, Anna Marie (Gilbert+) Flores, Rene Ruben and wife Pamela, along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Our beloved Juana Cardona, better known as "Tia Queta" was a daughter, sister, best tia, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, neighbor and for many of us; a mother at heart. As a child and young woman, she helped her mother raise her siblings as well as her many nieces and nephews.

She married Pablo T Cardona (+) in 1967 and became the loving stepmother of his children with the arrival of her daughter Sandra, their beautiful family was complete. Her grandson Patrick was the greatest joy of her life. She was a member and volunteer at St. Stephens Catholic Church for many years. She was a woman of great faith and had love for others with an open heart to help others. Family was very important to her and her worry for others. Her beautiful phrase "I Love You" will always be kept in our hearts.
