He began his career as a welder, dedicating ten years to Industrial Industries, and later retired from the Houston Independent School District. Julian was actively involved in Little League Baseball.
Julian was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Antonio and Lilia Castro.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Emilia Castro; his daughter, Margaret Garza; and his son, Edward Eugene Castro.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Liliana, Julian’s caretaker for the past three years, whose compassion and dedication brought great comfort in his final days.
A visitation for Julian will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A committal service will occur Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at External Service Location, 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023.
