I was very sorry to hear of June's passing.  When I started school as a sophomore at IWA, June was the first one to welcome me and make me feel at home my first day there.  I admired her ability on the basketball court as much as her talent for making everyone feel special.   Although I lost contact with her after graduation, I've thought about her often over the years and I look forward to seeing her again some day.   CIndy Purdy Sidell

It never mattered when or why, but you always poured out a beautiful smile and true love for us. You allowed us to be in Ryan's life and it has meant the world wo us.  I had the chance to let her know her sons would be great and well-cared for. They and us will miss you but it gives great relief to know you are together again! And we will see you soon! We all love you! Rest well, Sweets!

AJ you are missed. The lady that was strong enough to take the head of the table. Your laugh would catch the attention of any large audience. Many speak of your generosity and indeed the stories are real. You would get so excited for us when we had good things going on for us. When I got my first car you paid for my first tank of gas. You gifted John and I our honeymoon accommodations and that was huge for us. I have missed for a few years when I would call the house and you would answer the phone “Hello The Coco” and sound excited I was calling. Hug your mom and dad and Ryan. Rest in peace finally. I first knew June on he opposite side of the volley ball court in the 8th grade.  She was a good player and  I was a little or maybe a lot intimidated to play against her.  But once I met June at IWA  found she wasn't scary at all. She was always friendly and sweet and I remember her well.

June and I were fellow classmates at  IWA. Although we lost touch, I will always remember her love for sports and fun nature and a friend to all. My condolence to her family and friends. I know she will be missed by all.

My name is Angela (Burkett) Shiver, June & I became friends at St Rose of Lima  School about 5th or 6th grade we played marbles together. She was by far the better marble player.  We also were at IWA High School through 4 years and graduation.  Our visits were at our class reunions. We were always glad to see each other. 
My sympathy to all her family, I know she will be truly missed. 
Eternal rest grant unto June, O’Lord and let the perpetual light shine upon her. May June’s soul and all the souls of the faithful departed , through the Mercy of God, Rest in Peace.

I remember June quite well from my senior year at Incarnate Word Academy, class of 63.  The only year that knew and saw June.  However she was so memorable in every way.  Her beautiful smile, sparkling eyes,  and an "aura" of someone very special, kind and sweet. 
I was pleased to see that June went on to have a good life with loving family who will surely miss her.   I can picture her being surrounded by flowers as she arranged each piece in the floral arrangement  to bring joy to the recipient.   My condolences to the family.  May you be comforted by happy memories and  feel  the blessing that you had her in your lives.   June left her mark in this world.  Now may she rest in peace.          

June was a very friendly,  fun-loving classmate, and friend at IWA, as well as a valued teammate on the volleyball and basketball courts.  Its hard to believe that 60 years have flown by since our high school graduation.  May June's family and friends find comfort in the fond memories they built with her.  Elaine, you have been a loyal friend and a true angel in June's life - The Best!  It was always obvious  to me that June loved you all very much.

We will always remember Aunt June's smile and her contagious laugh. 

The love she had for our family never faultered. 

June was one of the most generous persons I have ever known. Many of us were direct beneficiaries of her kindness. As a classmate, June always had an uplifting word for all and a ready laugh to brighten the day. As a friend, she was ever thoughtful and always ready to lend a hand. As a mom and grandmother, she was devoted. Our world really was a more beautiful place because June lived. May her memory remain a blessing and a beacon for us all. I know that I was blessed because June was a friend; she will always be missed.  

When I was a child AJ (aunt June) was one of the wisest people I knew.  I learned so much from her.  I looked up to her and hung on every word she said.  If she said it there was no doubt it was true.  We spent a lot of time together.  One of our favorite things was eating ritz crackers with cream cheese and strawberry jam!  I still love it!  Her love for family was bigger than life.  Love you!

June, my dear friend , my sister, we've shared so much of our lives. Happy,sad,proud and goofy times. So many laughs so many tears. With God's guidance we were  lucky enough to each have a daughter who shared their lives as sisters. I will always treasure these memories. We were so lucky to share two wonderful families with so much love for us. I will miss you so much until I see you again. Love you always
