Karin "Ginky" Day, 70, passed away September 21, 2013 in Conroe, Texas. She loved to watch birds, crocheting and sewing, enjoyed playing all sorts of board and card games and working puzzles but most of all was a great cook and spending time with family. Ginky was preceded in death by her parents, Ezro and Eva Hicks; brother, Ted Hicks; and grandson, Tyler Robinson. She is survived by her husband, Bill Day; children, Marcia Robinson and husband Scott, Greg Day and wife Amanda; grandchildren, Nicole Jones and husband Randy, Annie and Emma Day; and great-grandson, Tyler Jones. She is also survived by brothers, Robert Hicks and wife Camille, David Hicks and wife Liz; sisters, Elise Coker and husband Dan, Judy Insall, and sister-in-law, Nancy Carrell. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven with a funeral service at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, September 26, 2013 and interment following at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
