Katherine was a graduate of Spring Woods High School, Class of 1988 and earned her BS in Hospital Administration from Southwest Texas State University, Class of 1993. She loved her sports teams, Texas Aggies, Houston Texans and the Houston Astros.
Preceded in death by her loving father, Dr. James E. Cook, Jr. Survived by her mother, Carol Cook; sisters, Kelly Gauger, Kimberly Wagner, Karen Selldin; brothers-in-law, Mark Gauger, Rodolphe Wagner, Gary Selldin; nieces, Madison Selldin, Mackenzie Selldin, Francoise Wagner; nephews, Christopher Gauger; Brandon Gauger, Gauthier Wagner and many loving relatives and friends.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt appreciation to Katherine's loving caregivers, Aquanetta, Rita, Paula and Anita.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Tallowood Baptist Church, 555 Tallowood Dr., Rev. Clyde T. Cook and Rev. Larry Bertrand, officiating.
Katherine's deep faith, strength and perseverance throughout her life was an inspiration to all who knew her.
