Kellie Dean Farek

Kellie Dean Farek was born in Sacramento California on April 17,1961, immediately upon arrival she was adopted by Robert E. and Joyce Miller Dean. Kellie attended school in the Houston area before she began her career as a City of Houston Corrections officer. An on-the-job injury forced her early retirement due to an onset of rheumatoid arthritis. She married her true love Ron Farek on June 17, 1989. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Kellie had a great love of the Galveston area and the beach life. She loved the peaceful tranquility of the waves splashing on the shore and the freshness of the sea air. She enjoyed the playfulness of the dolphins and to watch the seabirds hang on the wind.

Kellie is survived by her loving husband of 34 years Ronald, daughter Misty, grandchildren Mckenna and Astin, great grandchildren Alice and Oliver and her brothers Robert and wife Dorothy and Byron and wife Jana. She also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother Joyce and father Robert. Kellie leaves behind a close circle of very good friends.

A visitation for Kellie will be held Monday, December 11, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven.
