Kennisha René Williams was born October 11, 1980, to Kenneth and Sheila Williams. She was the oldest of four siblings. She received Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church. She grew up being an active and faithful youth. She was a member of the choir and Marching Saint Drill Team. Her joy and passion was speaking on youth programs by sharing her love for the Lord Jesus Christ. She recently rededicated her service back to her home church and joined the Mass Choir. In the William's home, everyone learned how to fish by Daddy. She loved it! Along with spending fun time with her family, she had a natural talent as a hair designer. She was good with cutting hair and make-up. Her room in college was the local place to get a great "hair do". Her greatest attribute was helping others, whether it was spiritual advice, providing transportation, or as the saying goes, "giving the shirt off her back" if needed. Kennisha graduated from Oats Elementary and E. L. Furr High School. She attended Prairie View A&M College majoring in Information Technology. She became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Eta Beta Chapter. She continued her education studying Psychology at Texas Southern University and the University of Phoenix. She successfully acquired professional certifications from Gateway Foundations as a Counselor. Previously, she were employed at her Alma Mater, E. L. Furr High School. She truly enjoyed teaching and giving educational direction to the students. She later accepted a position as Counselor at Texas Department of Criminal Justice in Houston and Beaumont. Within the past three months she decided, and was training to re-enter the teaching profession. The most joyous occasions for Kennisha were experiencing the birth of her son Jason in 2005. The bundle of joy arrived while everyone was at the baby shower. The second birth was her darling daughter Carley in 2012. She weighed one pound, two ounces, "miracle baby". She leaves to cherish her memory: children: Carley Kimberly Diane Lewis & Jason La'Treston Dabney; parents: Kenneth & Sheila Williams; Great Aunt: Alline Edwards; Uncles: William Jones, Jr., Kermit Jones, Anthony Jones and Aljean Lewis; Aunts: Pamela Jones, Audrey Jones, Wanda W.
