

LaQuita Ann Lenton was born on August 7, 1961, in Houston, Texas to the late Cleopatra Price Lenton. Though adopted, Quita was raised by loving parents, her mother Cleo and father Herbert G. Lenton, Sr.
She attended Sam Houston High School and graduated with honors in Nursing from Massey Business School. She had a diverse career as a Nurse Aide, Teacher Aide and ventured into entrepreneurship.
faith carried her throughout her journey. She was a devoted and faithful member of Mt, Zion Apostolic Baptized Church of Jesus Christ under leadership of the late Pastor P. R. Jones, where she was ordained. She moved her membership to Bible Way Christian Center in 2009 to assist her brother Pastor Herbert G. Lenton, Jr. in ministry. Quita was a food connoisseur. She taught many people how to cook. She would let
you know what was missing in your food. She had a big heart. She had a happy spirit that spoke louder than words.
She loved her children MarQuis, Tyresha, MarQuitta, God daughter Jada West and family. She lovingly raised many of her nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews as if they were her own children, offering them unwavering support, guidance, and unconditional love.
The Lord called Quita home September 16, 2025, from labor to reward.
She was preceded in death by her mother Cleopatra Price Lenton.
