Lee G. Lefforge , 94, died peacefully on Saturday, September 21, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife, LaVerne E. Lefforge. Lee was a Captain in the Army-Air Force during WWII and a decorated fighter pilot who served in the Pacific. He is survived by three daughters, Linda Wright , Nan Evans and Jill Lefforge; three grandchildren, Leigh Evans, Logan Wright Beszterda and Kyle Evans, Austin, TX, one great granddaughter, Matilda McBride Evans; sons-in-law Joe Evans and Larry Wright; niece Margaret Hill, Austin, TX nephews Jim Hill, Baytown, TX and Roger Smith and Chuck Smith, Detroit, MI. The viewing will be from 9-10AM and the Graveside service will be at 10AM Thursday, September 26 in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
