Leo Clyde Fisher devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away July 2, 2014 at the age of 93. Leo was born March 22, 1921 in Houston Texas to Joe and Doris Fisher. He was a World War II veteran in the Army Air Corps and worked at Reed Tool Company for 43 years. Leo was a loving, kind, and generous man who never met a stranger. He was a loyal friend and always ready to lend a hand when someone needed help. He was a devout Methodist Christian Man. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 71 years, Dania Martin Fisher; son Terry (Lynda); son Gary (Cynthia); daughter Karen (Wally); grandchildren Alison, Blake, Lyndsey, and Ashley (Chad); great-grandchildren Sebastian, Delilah, and Jackson; sister Ivy Joe Smith and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. We wish to thank Silverado Hospice and Personalized Living for their comfort and care during Leo’s illness. Services are at Forest Park Lawndale, visitation on Sunday, July 6 from 5 to 8 pm, and funeral with Pastor Doug Laws officiating on Monday, July 7 at 10 am.
