Leroy Henry Hunter was born July 29, 1943 in Cold Spring, Texas to Henry Hunter and Erma Harrison Davis. Both parents preceded him in death along with his brother Johnny Burks. Leroy Henry Hunter was joined in Holy Matrimony to his loving wife Cathleen Horn Hunter for 35 years. Leroy Henry Hunter is survived by his loving wife Cathleen Horn Hunter; children Jacqueline Smith (Glen), Hubert Horn (Tymesha), Shemelle Haggerty (Kenneth), Shantell Horn (Daward) and Terry Horn (Tamika); nineteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; three sisters Bennie Mae White of Cold Spring, Texas, Nancy Benjamin and Lucille Hunter; one brother Sammy Harrison and a host of other relatives and friends. Leroy gave his life to Christ at an early age. He also enjoyed the art of Karate. Leroy retired from METRO after 29 years of service. He was a devoted husband and a wonderful father.
