Leslie Lynn Hoffman, revered as a pillar of strength, bravery, and unyielding positivity, passed away on February 11, 2025. Born on July 12, 1945, Leslie was known for her warmth, generosity, and the undeniably loving spirit she brought into the world.
Leslie will be remembered by her beloved children, Sheri Hayman (husband Hillery) and Kenneth Hoffman (wife Tricia) as well as grandchildren Peyton (husband Zach) and Chase. She is joined in rest by her mother, Frances, her father, S.R., and her brothers Alan and Sam along with many other loved ones throughout her life. With a big family tree and numerous friends, Leslie’s reach was as far as it was wide, and she was cherished deeply by many.
Among Leslie’s most significant accomplishments was raising her two children, whom she held as her pride and joy and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. She served as a secretary for Pasadena ISD for a considerable part of her life before retiring in 2016 and was an active member of the PARSE retiree group. She was a devoted member of Watters Road Church of Christ. Leslie enjoyed sewing, she most recently took up quilting and ceramics, and loved making wreaths with her daughter and scrub caps for her granddaughter.
As a cancer survivor twice in her life and most recently had encountered multiple health challenges that life brought her way, Leslie never wavered in her compassion for others. She continued to support her family and extend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Her legacy is one of unyielding kindness and generosity. Even when sick or in pain, she never faltered in caring for her loved ones more than she did for herself.
We know that she will be the first one to greet us in Heaven one day. She will be missed more than words can say, she was our mom and our Granny….rest easy with the Lord now.
