Lillie Mae Whorton (89) made her heavenly transition on September 27, 2015. Lillie was born in East Bernard, TX on July 25, 1926 to August and Lola Sopcjak. She later moved to Houston, TX, where she started her own family. Lillie had a heart for her family, a lover of the color blue, and a passion for gardening. When any of these things are mentioned, a memory of Lillie is near. Lillie is preceded in death by her two brothers: August and Edwin, two sisters: Gurdy and Dorothy, her first husband: James Whorton, and her second husband: James McClellan. She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter: Debbie Whorton-Foyteck, one son: James Whorton Jr., and five grandchildren: Kristin Foyteck, Jenifer Whorton, Jeffery Whorton, Kevin Foyteck, Jacob Whorton.
