Lloyd Thomas Schock, 75, of Deer Park, TX, passed away, with his loving family at his side, on Jan. 6, 2011. Born October 21, 1935 in McKee, Kentucky. His family moved to Texas in the 1950's. He was Valedictorian of his class, later attended the University of Houston and served in the U.S. Coast Guard. As a devoted husband, father and grandfather, he continued to take care of his family until his last days. Lloyd will be remembered as a strong, hard-working and loving family man and friend who spent his life graciously doing for others. He touched the lives of many with his kindness, wisdom and unwavering strength.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Karen; his four children, Debbie, Larry, Kathy and Trey; his daughters-in-law, Paige and Jessica; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Madeline, John, Andrew and Trevor.
Visitation on Sunday, Jan. 9 from 5-7pm and funeral services the following day at 1pm at Forest Park Lawndale.
