Lois Carolin Dye, age 91, passed away on January 4, 2015 in Conroe, TX. She was born on March 19, 1923 to Albert and Alice Thompson in Lufkin, TX. Lois, always the “life of the party”, lived passionately, and enjoyed fishing and traveling. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles B. Dye, and siblings, Hulon Thompson, Cleburne Thompson, Vida Turner, William Thompson, and Evelyn Turner. She leaves behind to cherish her memory; daughter, Wanda Lange and husband, Roger; sister, Laverne Carder; granddaughter, Anjeanette Lange; great-grandson, Billy Williams; niece, Joyce Stanley and husband, Joseph; and nephews, Clifford Turner and wife, Carol, and Walter Turner and wife, Elaine; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 10am at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, with a funeral service beginning at 11am, and interment immediately following.
