Lorine E. Zoch

Lorine Elnora Zoch, 92, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 29, 2013. She was born in Giddings, Texas on June 22, 1921 to Gerhardt and Selma Kappler, was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings, and has been a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Houston for over 75 years.

Lorine married Arthur Edward Zoch on August 31, 1938. Their marriage lasted 57 years until his death. Also preceding her in death were her parents; sister, Annie Mae Kunkel, and brother, Erwin Kappler. Survivors to cherish her memory are daughters, Margaret Zoch, Betty Henley and husband, Craig, and Nadine Lightsey and husband, Joe; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 2, 2013 at Heights Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 800 Houston Avenue, Houston, Texas 77007. Interment will follow in Memorial Oaks Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
