Louise (Lou) Lou Austin Bacon Nunn

Louise Bacon Austin Nunn, 85 years old, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, May 6, 2013, surrounded in love by her husband Robert Nunn, daughter Leslie Austin Stokes and husband Jeff, son Greg Austin and wife Jo, granddaughter Joey Austin Vaughan and husband Kevin and great grandchildren Jacie and Austin Vaughan. Step-children Mary Nunn Moyer and husband David, Gregory Nunn and wife Desha, and grandchildren Ryan and Ashley Nunn were a loving part of Lou’s life the last 20 years. She is survived by her sister Carolyn Bacon Vibrock and brother Carl Bacon and many nieces, nephews, neighbors, friends and members of Walden on Lake Conroe Church. Lou was preceded in death by two husbands Marshall Austin and Phillip Finke, brother Pete Bacon, and sisters Katherine Bacon Bryan, Virginia Bacon Wigginton, and Ann Bacon Filer.

Visitation with the family began at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 9th, in the chapel of Waltrip Funeral Directors, where services, led by Pastor David Kenny, began at 11:30 a.m. Graveside services and interment followed in Memorial Oaks Cemetery. Pallbearers were her loving nephews.

The family extends a special thanks to A-Med Hospice and the caregivers and nurses they provided.
