Luciano Perez

Luciano “Chano” Perez, age 58, devoted husband and loving father and grandfather was laid to rest peacefully Wednesday, December 17, 2014 surrounded by his family. Luciano was born on January 1, 1956, in Beeville, TX and was raised in Houston, TX. He is preceded in death by his father Margarito Perez and sister Martha Perez. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Vera Perez. His children Veronica Lemos and husband JD, Daniel Perez and Joe Perez. Grandchildren Katelyn Flores, JD Lemos and Gianna Perez. He is also survived by his mother Luz Perez and siblings Sue Zuniga, Maria Martinez, Margie Valdez, Joe Perez, Linda Rodriguez, Johnny Perez and Janie Robles; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Luciano worked at ADT Security Services for 29 years. Throughout his years he was active in the community as a coach, Knights of Columbus member, Scout leader and PTO/Booster club member. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed working on projects. His interest included collecting baseball caps, coins, antique toy cars, gambling, telling jokes, inventing competitive games for all to enjoy and making sure his vehicles were spotless. He was a loyal Dallas Cowboy fan who always enjoyed rooting for his favorite team. His family and friends will remember him as a very special person, giving and caring to everyone he met.
